LARGE RETREATS

Peace House at Yahweh Shalom is available for retreats, especially one day retreats.

The building and chapel will easily accommodate groups of up to 25.  The chapel is connected to Peace House which eliminates having to go outside during inclement weather.  The building and chapel are air conditioned (and heated for winter use).  The facility includes two restrooms.

Retreatants also have the use of the prayer trail which has Stations of the Cross for meditation and an area for Devotion to the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Mother, as well as Stations in the chapel.  A small meditation garden provides an area for reflection out of doors next to the chapel.

The facilities are provided at no cost to the participants; however, all goodwill donations are appreciated and are used for the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and adjacent areas.

For further information, you may contact Lory Kemner at (573) 345-4710.

SMALL PRIVATE RETREATS

The facilities at Yahweh Shalom are also available for small private retreat groups.  In addition to the above mentioned facilities, a Guest House is available which will accommodate up to seven people (in a non-partitioned manner).  Groups may bring their own Retreat Master, or if desired, a program will be provided.  Groups for the small retreats are to be one to seven persons.

If a stay of more than one day is desired, daily Mass is normally available at 9:00 AM at the Shrine of St. Patrick in Laurie.

There is no charge for the use of the facilities, however, reservations are required.

For further information, you may contact Lory Kemner at (573) 345-4710.
