SAINTS

6/13/07 St. Ambrose Bishop of Milan

Child of God, I come today by the Will of the Most Holy Trinity.

Child of God, I come today to speak of the Church and its role in daily life. People think of the Church as an organization with the leader at the top, administration in the middle and then the ordinary people who go to Church on Sunday and donate their money to keep it all running. This is the reason that Christianity has not changed the world and earth is not a small paradise where love prevails.

Christ did not found a company; He came to teach the people about the Father and how to go to Heaven. If lived faithfully, what Our Lord taught and lived would change the world for the better and mankind would find the road to Heaven a joy.

The Lord taught and lived holiness. He said you cannot serve both God and mammon. The people of God are all those who walk the road of holiness. You do not need meetings to collect ideas or money, you only need to do as Our Jesus asked; love the Lord thy God with all your heart, mind, will and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself. It is so simple and personal. Spend less time talking and more time doing.

Holiness is not an option, it is a mandate. All other things will be accomplished if the people of God live holy lives.

Peter was sent out in the world with only his knowledge of the Lord and his love for his God, and see what he, and all those who sought holiness and to share their knowledge, accomplished. Do so, also, and you will bring love and peace to the world.

I bless you.
