SAINTS

8/28/07 St. Simon Stock*

Child of God, today I come at the request of the Most Blessed Trinity.

Child of God, I come to say that the remedy for the world is prayer.

My children who read these messages, I implore you to pray for the opening of hearts to Jesus.

I was privileged to see the Most Blessed Virgin Mary, but Her purpose in coming to me was to bring not only myself to Jesus, but all mankind. The many devotions in the Church are for one purpose only to bring souls to God. Prayer opens our hearts to be able to receive our God and grow in His Light. Prayer also is a means by which the Lord takes our love for Him and our trust to open the hearts of others. We do not fully comprehend the power of prayer, but as a person grows closer to God, you begin to see miracles happen because of prayer. God in His Mercy takes our humble offering of love, praise and thanksgiving and turns it into a fountain of grace for ourselves and for our brothers and sisters.

Have confidence and pray for the change of hearts; for the opening of hearts to God.

I, Simon, bless you.

*(1165-1265) He expanded the Carmelite Order and spread the devotion of the Brown Scapular.
